Did you know that the Volkswagen Beetle is one of the world’s most manufactured vehicles? The word Volkswagen literally translates to “people’s car,” and, true to its name, people have been embracing the popular car brand for nearly 100 years. Why are more people driving away from local used car dealers, or classic car dealers, in a Volkswagen?

The People’s Car

As “the people’s car,” popular Volkswagen models, like the Volkswagen Beetle, are very family friendly. In fact, Hitler ordered the construction and design of the very first Beetle, making demands for a vehicle that would comfortably fit two adults and three children. Volkswagen models, and Volkswagen car leases, are also very reasonable. The Beetle was a inexpensive, and economical, model manufactured from 1938 until 2003, and the company continues to produce similarly reasonable, and accommodating, Volkswagen vehicles today.

Long Lasting Quality

More than 21 million Beetles, with cool air features, rear wheel drive, and rear wheel engines, were produced for almost a century. The Beetle owes its long run to its quality, and modern Volkswagen models are built with the very same standards in mind. U.S. drivers are getting an average of 65 speeding tickets per minute. With impeccable steering and control, Volkswagen owners are more likely to avoid tickets, and traffic infractions.

People continue to drive Volkswagen cars away from local used car dealers. Why? Volkwagen vehicles are reasonable, a perfect fit for the average American family, and they are built to last. Get more info here.

  1. I think I might have said that the first vw was designed for the average family, and left it at that. 😉 I guess the writer’s way is more accurate and truthful, though. Hitler was a smart guy. Not a very nice guy (to say the least), but smart.

  2. Wow. That was about… what? 60 years? It’s not quite a century, but that’s a long time for any one vehicle to last. Also, I didn’t know they stopped making them! I wondered why the kids stopped the whole punch buggy thing… Now I guess I know, haha
